Normandy Invasion, June 1944


A member of the the U.S. Navy's Second Beach Battalion disassembles a German "Beetle" remote-controlled miniature explosive tank, on "Utah" Beach, 11 June 1944.
These vehicles were built as mobile anti-landing craft mines.
