U.S. Navy motor torpedo boats (PT) and U.S. Coast Guard 83-foot patrol boats use the waterfront as a temporary base, while operating out of Cherbourg, 30 August 1944.
PT boat at left is PT-199.
Note the depth charges on the sterns of the USCG patrol boats in the foreground.
