(Australian Heavy Cruiser, 1928)

In Lingayen Gulf, Leyte, on 9 January 1945, after she had been hit by five Japanese Kamikaze planes during 5, 6, 8 & 9 January.
The ship suffered the loss of 44 crewmen and received extensive damage, but remained in action providing gunfire support for the Lingayen landings.
