Inchon, Korea


A U.S. Marine stands by the front of a M-46 tank, which has three North Korean tank "kills" to its credit, on the Inchon waterfront.
A fast transport (APD) is visible in the right background.
This photograph is dated 13 December 1950, but was probably taken in September-October 1950, during the Inchon Invasion or the subsequent redeployment of the First Marine Division to eastern Korea.
