USS Helori (YP-181, formerly SP-181)
At the Puget Sound Navy Yard, Bremerton, Washington, 17 March
1921.
Helori was the only Section Patrol boat on the Pacific
Coast fitted with the 220 horsepower Standard gasoline engine
adopted for use in World War I submarine chasers (SC). She was
used by the 13th Naval District for training subchaser engine
room forces.
