Engraved portrait by Charles Ste. Memin, 1799.
The artist, a Frenchman, traced the profile of the sitter on
pink paper with black crayon, reduced this by use of a pantograph,
then engraved with graver and roulette. One collection of his
prints is in the Corcoran Gallery in Washington, D.C.. Another
is in the Library of Congress.
