USS SC-292 (1918-1921)
Underway in harbor, circa 1918.
She was one of the submarine chasers which took the troops and
crew off the transport USS Northern Pacific, when the
transport went aground off Fire Island, New York, on 1 January
1919.
Note the 3"/23 gun mounted on SC-292's foredeck.
