USS Nipsic (1879-1913)
The ship's propeller on display at the Mare Island Navy Yard,
California, circa the 1890s.
This four-bladed propeller was badly bent when Nipsic
went ashore during the 15-16 March 1889 hurricane at Apia, Samoa.
