Photo #: NH 45242

Pearl Harbor, Hawaii Territory

View taken circa 1922 or somewhat later, looking toward 1010 Dock from Ford Island.
Among the minesweepers laid up at left (by the big crane) are USS Oriole (AM-7), USS Pigeon (AM-47) and USS Pelican (AM-27). "Hog Island" type freighter in right center is probably USS Procyon (AG-11), flagship of the Battle Fleet's Base Force. Immediately to left of her is a fleet tug, hauled out on the Navy Yard Marine Railway.
See Photo # NH 45242-A a cropped version of this image, emphasizing the minesweepers.
