USS Gloucester
(1898-1919)

Montage featuring a photograph of the ship entering the harbor of Gloucester, Massachusetts, in the summer of 1898, after her return from Spanish-American War service off Cuba, along with a cap ribbon bearing her name and a remnant of the pennant she flew during the 3 July 1898 Battle of Santiago. She was commanded by Lieutenant Commander Richard Wainwright, USN.
