Steamship Andalusia (1864-1867)
Watercolor by Erik Heyl, 1949, painted for use in his book "Early
American Steamers", Volume I.
Built as the SS Comodore in 1864, this steamship was USS
Iuka during 1864-1865 and was renamed Andalusia
upon reentering commercial service after the Civil War.
