USS Santa Teresa

Fitting out at the Cramp shipyard, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on 18 November 1918, the day she was commissioned.
Santa Teresa was returned to the U.S. Shipping Board on 7 October 1919 and became the mercantile Kent in 1936. During 1941-1946 she was USS Kent (AP-28) and the U.S. Army Transport (and Hospital Ship) Ernest Hinds.
The small ferry steamer Tinicum is at right. A destroyer in visible behind Santa Teresa.
