Chief Quartermaster Cornelius Cronin


Halftone reproduction of a photograph, published in "Deeds of Valor," Volume II, page 64, by the Perrien-Keydel Company, Detroit, 1907.

Cornelius Cronin received the Medal of Honor for expertly steering USS Richmond as she fired upon Fort Morgan and Confederate ships during the Battle of Mobile Bay on 5 August 1864.
