S.S. West Arrow (American Freighter, 1918)
Underway at the time her construction was completed by the Skinner
& Eddy Corporation, Seattle, Washington, in mid-1918.
Originally named J.C. Eddy, this ship was launched on
23 May 1918. She was considered for acquisition by the Navy for
World War I service, and assigned the registry ID # 2585, but
was not taken over.
The original print is in National Archives' Record Group 19-LCM.
