USS Shaw (DD-373)


Running at 25 knots during a full-power trial off Pearl Harbor, 8 February 1942, after installation of a stub bow to temporarily replace that destroyed in the Japanese attack of 7 December 1941.
The day after this photograph was taken, Shaw steamed to the Mare Island Navy Yard, California, for permanent repairs.
