Midshipman James Morris Morgan, CSN


Halftone reproduction of a photograph taken while he was serving in CSS Georgia during 1863-1864.
The photographer is probably Rideau, of Cherbourg, France, where Georgia was in port from late October 1863 to mid-February 1864.

Copied in 1983 from Morgan's autobiography, "Recollections of a Rebel Reefer" (opposite page 126), published in 1917.
