(U.S. Steam Yacht, 1907)

Photographed prior to World War I. She is flying a pennant that appears to bear the word "Baryard".
Previously named Halawa, this craft was acquired by the Navy on 26 May 1917, but was reportedly commissioned even earlier, on 18 April. She served during World War I as USS Actus (SP-516). Stricken from the Navy list on 17 June 1919, she was transferred to the War Department on 20 July 1920.

The original photograph is in Record Group 19-LCM in the National Archives.
