Signalmen bend on flags to halyard, in preparation for hoisting a signal, during the ship's first post-reactivation trials, at the Puget Sound Navy Yard, Bremerton, Washington, circa September 1951. She was recommissioned on 25 September.
Note fittings at left, used to prevent halyard chaffing.
