"WAVE Specialists study Link Celestial Navigation"


"'Celestial pathfinders' for other WAVES to follow, 70 Specialists (Teachers) of the Women's Reserve ... are now undergoing a 10-weeks course at Navy Link Celestial Navigation Trainer Operators and Maintenance Schools in two widely-separated Naval Air Stations -- Quonset Point, R.I., and Seattle, Wash. Upon graduation, they will be qualified to hand along their knowledge to future Navy airmen."
