USS Oklahoma City (CLG-5)
Plan view aft, looking to starboard, taken while the ship was
undergoing an inclining experiment at the San Francisco Bay Naval
Shipyard, Hunter's Point, San Francisco, California, in June
1967.
Note the launcher for Oklahoma City's "Talos"
guided missiles, helicopter landing area, and communications
antennas mounted at her stern. Large blocks on her deck edge
are weights used in the inclining experiment.
Ship in the background is USS Somers (DDG-34), which was
then being converted to a guided-missile destroyer.
