View looking forward along the port side, from off the after superstructure, 19 December 1959. Taken at the New York Shipbuilding Corporation shipyard, Camden, New Jersey, while she was completing conversion to a guided missile ship.
Note SPG-49 guidance radars for Little Rock's "Talos" missile system (in lower right) and the very large diamond-shaped antenna for her SPS-2 height-finding search radar (atop the after superstructure).
