USS Crest (SP-339)
In port, circa 1917-1919, with other converted trawlers behind
her.
Originally the fishing trawler Crest (built in 1911),
this ship served as a section patrol vessel in the First Naval
District during World War I. She was of similar design to USS
Whitecap (SP-340), from whose "SP" data card
this photograph was copied.
