Revolution (American Yacht, 1901)
In port when first completed in 1901. Location is probably the
Charles L. Seabury & Company or Gas Engine & Power Company boatyard
at Morris Heights, New York.
The craft on the shipways at left is probably USS Wilkes
(Torpedo Boat # 35).
Revolution was renamed Wacondah in 1907. Delivered
to the Navy on 24 May 1917, she was commissioned for World War
I service as USS Wacondah (SP-238) on 14 September 1917.
She was stricken on 21 August 1919 and sold on 24 May 1920. Her
name was afterwards changed to Intercolonial.
