John A. Palmer, Jr.
(American Menhaden Fishing Vessel, 1911)

Photographed prior to World War I. Delivered to the Navy on 29 May 1917, she served as John A. Palmer, Jr. (SP-319) during and immediately after World War I. She was transferred to the U.S. Coast Guard on 10 September 1919. As USCGC Pequot, she was employed as a cable layer until 1922.
