(American Tug, 1915)

Photographed circa 1915-1917.
Built by the Staten Island Shipbuilding Company and owned by the Erie Railroad Company of New York City, this harbor tug was acquired by the Navy on 8 May 1917 and placed in commission on 22 September 1917 as USS Charles P. Crawford (SP-366). She was returned to her owner on 12 August 1919.

The original print is in National Archives' Record Group 19-LCM.
