USS Concord

At the Boston Navy Yard, Charlestown, Masachusetts, probably at about the time she entered Naval service in 1917. The stern of USS Constitution is partially visible at left.
Built in 1898, the tug Concord was acquired by the Navy on 22 September 1917, outfitted at the Boston Navy Yard and placed in commission on 20 November 1917. She was renamed Mendota and designated YT-33 on 20 November 1920 and was again renamed on 30 January 1932, becoming Muscotah (YT-33).
