Underway during World War I. This photograph was possibly taken from USS Iowa (Battleship # 4) in the Hampton Roads area, Virginia, in 1918.
Built in 1909 as a pleasure craft and formerly named Nahmeoka and Tuscanola, this motor boat was acquired by the Navy on 8 May 1917 and placed in commission on 12 May. She was stricken from the Navy Register on 31 March 1919 and sold on 13 December 1919.
