Carrie Clark (American Seagoing Barge, 1874)
At anchor without cargo, probably prior to her World War I era
Naval service. Formerly named Carrie M. Clark and Anna,
this barge was acquired by the Navy from the Luckenbach Steamship
Company on 18 October 1917 and placed in commission as USS Carrie
Clark (SP-1238) on 8 November 1917. She was stricken from
the Navy list on 13 June 1919 and sold on 11 September 1919.
The original print is in National Archives' Record Group 19-LCM.
