Carrie Clark (American Seagoing Barge, 1874)
At anchor, probably prior to her World War I era Naval service.
Formerly named Carrie M. Clark and Anna, she was
acquired by the Navy from the Luckenbach Steamship Company on
18 October 1917 and placed in commission as USS Carrie Clark
(SP-1238) on 8 November 1917. The barge was stricken from the
Navy list on 13 June 1919 and sold to the Neptune Line, of New
York City, on 11 September 1919.
