USS E. Benson Dennis
(SP-791)

In port during the World War I era.
Built in 1901 by C.W. Crockett of Pocomoke City, Maryland, this "Menhaden Fisherman" was taken over by the Navy on 14 May 1917 and placed in commission the next day. She was decommissioned and returned to her owner, E. Benson Dennis of Cape Charles, Virginia, on 12 March 1919.

The original print is in National Archives' Record Group 19-LCM.
