Dolphin
(American Fishing Vessel, 1908)

In port, possibly circa 1918-1919, when under consideration for U.S. Navy service.
This "menhaden fisherman", originally named Virginia, was reported as having been commissioned on 7 February 1919 as USS Dolphin (SP-318). She was, however, not actually taken over by the Navy.

The original print is in National Archives' Record Group 19-LCM.
