Lynx II
(U.S. motor boat, 1917)

Underway, circa Spring 1917, prior to being acquired by the Navy for World War I service.
A 58-foot boat built by Herreshoff, she was acquired by the Navy on 14 June 1917 and commissioned on 9 July 1917 as USS Lynx II (SP-730). She was renamed SP-730 in 1918, stricken on 13 June 1919, and sold on 2 September 1919.

The original print is in National Archives' Record Group 19-LCM.
