USS Rondo (SP-90)


In port during World War I. The bow of USS St. Sebastian (SP-470) is visible in the right distance.
Built in 1915 as a civilian pleasure craft, Rondo was acquired by the Navy on 2 June 1917 and commissioned on 14 November 1917. She was renamed SP-90 in 1918. She was awaiting sale on 9 September 1919 when she was wrecked, with seven other SP boats, by a hurricane at Key West, Florida.
