Sea Gull
(American Motor Boat, 1902)

Underway in harbor, prior to World War I.
Built at Greenport, Long Island, New York, and originally named Heather, this pleasure craft served as USS Sea Gull (SP-544) after about June 1917. Her name was changed to SP-544 in 1918, and she was returned to her owner following the end of World War I.

The original print is in National Archives' Record Group 19-LCM.
