Photographed prior to World War I.
This 91-foot steel tug was built by Neafie & Levy at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and owned by the Red Band Line of Charleston, South Carolina. She was inspected by the Navy on 13 March 1918 for possible World War I service, and assigned the registry ID # 2355. However, she was not taken over by the Navy.
