Constance II
(American Motor Boat, 1914)

In port prior to her World War I era Navy service.
This pleasure craft was built by the Holmes Motor Boat Company of West Mystic, Connecticut. Owned by Joseph Gahm of Boston, Massachusetts, she was acquired by the Navy on 6 July 1917 and placed in commission on 30 July 1917 as USS Constance II (SP-633). Later redesignated YP-633, she was reclassified as a small boat on 5 September 1922 and assigned to the Boston Navy Yard for use as a launch.
