Daisy
(American Motor Boat, 1904)

In harbor, prior to her World War I Navy service.
This craft was acquired by the Navy, under charter, on 9 June 1917 and subsequently served in Florida waters as Daisy (SP-1186).
She appears to be employed as an excursion boat in this photograph. The boat whose stern is visible just beyond Daisy's bow appears to be the Meita, of St. Petersburg, Florida, which was also Daisy's home port.
