View from alongside the ship's starboard side amidships, looking forward, while the she was undergoing an inclining experiment at the Mare Island Naval Shipyard, California, on 26 August 1961. O'Brien was then completing her FRAM II modernization.
Note the fixed single and trainable triple torpedo tubes installed between her smokestacks.
