a mooring buoy in 1918, while she was painted in "dazzle"
camouflage.
Note the ship nickname used in the original picture caption:
"The Big Chief".
This image was published in 1919 by the National Specialties
Company of New York City, as one of ten photographs in a "Souvenir
Folder" of views concerning USS Leviathan.
