Ocoee
(American Motor Boat, 1911)

At a yachting facility, prior to World War I.
This pleasure craft was built in 1911 by the Matthews Boat Company of Port Clinton, Ohio. She was taken over by the Navy on 24 August 1917 and placed in commission on 17 September 1917 as USS Ocoee (SP-1208). On 6 July 1918 she was reported as having proved unsuitable, and the Commandant of the Third Naval District was directed to return her to her owner, which was done on 17 January 1919.
