Probably taken on Iwo Jima during February-March 1945.
Photographed by Staff Sergeant Kauffman.
Note the pipe-smoking Marine at left, and the variety of weapons
present. They include a .30 caliber Browning water-cooled machine
gun, two M1 carbines (center and right) and an M1 rifle (left).
