Attending the honors ceremony were Vice Admiral Waldemar F.A. Wendt, USN, (partially hidden by Adm. Moorer's right arm), Deputy Commander in Chief, U.S. Atlantic Fleet; Major General Rathvon McC. Vice Admiral Hahm visited Atlantic Fleet headquarters as guest of the U.S. Navy's Chief of Naval Operations. While in the Norfolk area, VAdm.
