Filipino insurgent surrender, 1902
Insurgents of Filipino General Guevara's army on board the U.S.
Navy collier Nanshan on 26 April 1902, while being transported
from the mouth of the Gandara River to Catbalogan, Samar, where
they formally surrendered.
This surrender ended the guerilla warfare in the Philippines
that began in 1899.
