S.S. Pleamar
(Argentinian Freighter, 1919)

Formerly USS Spica (AK-16), this ship is shown after she was acquired in 1947 by Navemar SA, an Argentine shipping firm and placed in commercial service as S.S. Pleamar. She was scrapped at Buenos Aires in 1964. This photo may show her after she was refitted with diesel propulsion in 1957.
