Coaling Ship


A U.S. Navy collier transferring coal to a warship, during the 1910s.
The original image is printed on post card ("AZO") stock.
This collier is either USS Nereus or USS Proteus. Note how her coal bucket is "throwing" its load to assist the men moving the coal to the warship's bunkers.
