USS APL-15

Probably shown upon completion of construction at Nashville, Tennessee, in August 1944.
This non-self propelled barracks ship and her many sisters consisted of the hull of a 260-foot ocean-going covered lighter (YF-604 type) carrying a two-story deckhouse with an awning on top.
The sister built at Nashville immediately before this one, APL-14, fell victim to Typhoon Louise at Okinawa in October 1945.
The large warehouse in the upper right is inscribed "Hagland-Potter & Co., Wholesale Groceries."
