USS Connecticut (Battleship # 18)
Services held on the ship's after deck in mid-Atlantic, after
Army Chaplain O'Connor celebrated Mass during the homeward-bound
voyage of the 136th Field Artillery, 37th Division, 16 March
1919.
Note canvas hung over the right twelve-inch gun of the ship's
after turret, probably serving as a wind screen for the altar.
