Following shaving by the "Royal Barber" and the administration of "medicine" by the "Royal Doctor", a "Polywog" slides toward the dunking tank, where the "Royal Bears" await his arrival.
Photographed during Equator crossing ceremonies, 6 January 1908, while Maine was steaming south off the Brazilian coast during the "Great White Fleet"'s World cruise.
