Operation "Fishnet", Korea, 1952

Captured North Korean fishing nets are dried from the boom of a South Korean naval vessel, during operations intended to destroy the main source of Communist forces' food supply, the nets of North Korean fishermen. U.S. Navy Underwater Demolition Team "Frogmen" took part in this operation.
Photograph is dated 16 September 1952.
