Photo #: S-511-60 "6" A.A. Cruiser - Scheme "F" Revised" (Not Submitted) Preliminary design plan prepared for the General Board during the development of a light cruiser with rapid-firing 6"/47 anti-aircraft guns, which ultimately became the Worcester (CL-144) class. This plan, dated 13 February 1943, is a revision of the 30 December 1942 preliminary design (see Photo # S-511-57) for a ship with twelve six-inch guns, but now featuring a single smokestack and all main battery gun directors on the centerline. It was not submitted for the General Board's consideration Scale of the original drawings is 1/32" = 1'.
